Geez, Craig, that's a different matter.

People also buy books, as opposed to checking them out at a library.
Both models coexist.

People who buy complete seasons on DVD do not use that as their sole
source of story-telling entertainment. Maybe they do it to "collect," or
maybe they do it to see shows they aren't otherwise receiving. You can't
assume that this sort of pay per view model will replace the other
models. It won't.

You know, people prefer to pay the telephone company with a monthly
package deal. People prefer to rent cars with no mileage limits. For
everyday entertainment, the guy who is smart enough to offer a package
with predictable monthly price wins.
