You are agreeing with a TWC guy writing in the May 2009 Communications
and Technology,

Unique recordings per unique customer request and each customer's
unique recordings only available to that customer.
This is not all programs available all the time to anyone, not even
for a window (any program less than two weeks old). You still have to
either plan what you want to watch or be at home when it is broadcast.
