Clueless readers will think that ATSC M/H is two-way: "The Mobile DTV standard also allows for two-way communication. When viewing an ad, a viewer may push a button to see more information or have it sent by e-mail. The system can also be used for voting, polling and audience measurement. "Mobile TV devices with GPS function could also feed location-specific ads so that, for example, an ad for a restaurant would appear only to someone nearby." The truth is, this only works if the device receiving the signal is a smart phone or a laptop/notebook with an Internet connection. Funny how this sort of obfuscation has bedeviled all DTV rollouts from day 1. Also, in a rational economy, one would indeed expect services like MediaFLO to be threatened by ATSC M/H. Past history in the US, instead, would suggest that you won't find any receiving devices on any store shelves, they will never be advertized, and only some store clerks will know that there are a couple of receivers stashed away in storeroom in back somewhere. And stores will always run out, because they will be allotted only a couple of samples per month.
