[opendtv] My non-wind-up TV

A couple weeks ago I promised to report back on this item, the Vector
combo wind-up TV/light/radio.   The results were somewhat disappointing 
so I haven't played with it much.

The unit consists of a radio, TV, flashlight, and LED area light.  The 
crank can charge an auxiliary battery.  Sadly, as I was warned on this 
list, the aux battery cannot power the TV or, for some reason, the 
flashlight.  Those will run only on C batteries or the car or AC 
adapters.  I haven't tried anything using the needed C batteries yet.

The 5" B/W TV has maybe the worst reception I've ever seen though it 
gets slightly better if I hold onto the antenna.   Generally I'd suggest 
just buying a wind up radio and dealing with a portable TV separately.
