Not exactly surprising for Microsoft to take this position. Not any more
surprising than the NAB to take the opposite position.
I think that if these devices have tuners capable of -114 dBm sensitivity,
perhaps TV tuners should adopt the same front ends.
Furthermore, church mikes are unlikely to operate within a couple of feet of
someone's TV. In most churches.
Also, the article doesn't address the problem of interference with cable
reception (although I think in principle that should be easier to fix than
OTA reception).
