Thanks Peter,
We address the issue of 1080p/50 and what bitrate is required for MPEG-4
AVC; but also compared to 1080i725 and 720p/50. Please come by and have a
look and make your own decision of what bitrate would be theoretical
required.
Craig: I will use oversampled and 1:1 sampled content for 1080p/50. Lets see
whether your theory is right;-)
best wishes and see you at IBC,

Well at least I think I passed the "trick question" test.
What is 1080i725? was this a typo?
Unfortunately I will not be at IBC to see your work, but I hope that
you will have a paper to share with the list that provides the
details of your tests and the results.
I am also curious to learn how you acquired oversampled 1080@50P
content. and what kind of image processing (e.g. down sampling)
filters may have been used on the camera that used 1:1 sampling.

Craig
