Some, or maybe still all, versions of Windows Media Player have assumed
square pixels. I'm not aware of much else that does anymore.

There is no excuse for this. Must be a PC problem...
The point is, Craig, this is REALITY.
Go find a non-standard aspect ratio display, look at the video drivers
that come with it, and let me know when you find any that don't create
distortion on most of the settings. There might be "no excuse" for this,
but that doesn't mean it isn't the norm.
