Are you saying that we need to re-debate the Supreme Court ruling on
this Betamax case for every TV program transmitted OTA? They already
decided what constituted fair use, and they already decided that owning
a recorder, recording programs for my own use, even for multiple
viewings, does not automatically make me a criminal.

I'm not expanding this decision at all.
