Shucks!  The headline made it sound like it would discuss "Lucy leader." 
 We used to use it all the time.  Lucy's lip movements were so 
exaggerated that they made it simple to find lip sync.  When we wanted 
to sync two tapes for editing (pre-time-code synchronizers), we'd stick 
30 seconds of Lucy on the front -- plenty of time to bring the tapes 
into perfect sync.
