[opendtv] Re: Legacy Broadcast of 'The Ten Commandments'

Like I said, I'm not really an audio guy. But is there really any advantage of 7.1 over 5.1 delivered thru a pair of headphones?

I have never heard 7.1 audio (or more). Has anyone heard any improvement over 5.1 channels? From any source? 

My musical ear isn't really that good anyway, but I'm curious.
