[opendtv] Re: Lawmakers Establish 2009 Deadline for Analog TV Phaseout

 From the getgo we wanted to use an advanced codec. Our first choice was 
ON2's codec which should have been chosen over MPEG2 in the first place. 
I never have thought that 8-VSB at 19.34 Mbps supported HD anyway. There 
is nothing magical about 19.34 Mbps, 8-VSB and HD.
