Bert,

DVB-T works just fine in portable and mobile uses, as demonstrated by the
myriad of portable DVB-T products. It works fine in automobiles. It works
fine as a PCMCIA card for laptops. It works fine as a vehicle entertainment
receiver. I can be made to work better with HM COFDM, and it can be made to
work with low battery drain devices using DVB-H, but plain DVB-T 2K and 8K
work portable now.

ATSC never will work in mobile applications without help from A-VSB or
E-VSB. And the data hit is so great that NOBODY will adopt either one.
