I time shifted almost everything for many years on my VCR before I got a 
Tivo.  I tended to work late and daily captured the stock market news 
plus any interesting prime time shows.

And, yes, I always skipped commercials.

You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at 
FreeLists.org 

- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
