[opendtv] Inexpensive modulator(s)

There was an inquiry on this list some months back about the price and
availability of modulators that would handle DVB-ASI input. I said the
least expensive I knew about was a Tandberg modulator, something North of
$34K.
That was then.
A company I'm consulting for www.computermodules.com has PC cards that take
in DVB-ASI and output ATSC. They're not particularly frequency agile
(requiring a reboot). The list is $3K.
There are also DVB-ASI to COFDM modulator boxes. List $10K.
Immediate availability. Interested parties can contact me directly, or go

I plan on playing with one of the ATSC units in the near future.
