So let's get back to the original premise here, that Microsoft is "restraining trade." I don't deny that, since you brought it up, but I did say that coming from an Apple cult member, that's a bit like the pot calling the kettle black.

Example: Microsoft does say that you can use any browser you want on Windows, BUT by the way you need to have IE installed anyway. To get the Microsoft Updates. To me, that's no different from Apple claiming that you can (now) run other OSes, oh but by the way, you have to have OS-X installed anyway.

OS-X comes with the machine; it includes Bootcamp, which lets you boot from Windows, DOS or Linux. You must buy Parallels or VM Ware Fusion to run virtual machines while running OS-X.

What I cannot understand is why someone would buy a Mac and NOT want to run OS-X?
