I suggest you return it if you can and replace it with a Toshiba.

But then I don't believe they have a support FAQ at all, so you'd have 
to decide what's better...no info, or disturbing info!

You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at 
FreeLists.org 

- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
