It's interesting. If you look towards progression of TV receiver technology it's clear that TV's are more and more are able to play Video off the internet {Smart TV's}. That means they are increasingly able to decode both ATSC and Internet content. In that case and if FCC will open for H.264/265 it will allow broadcasters to send two HDTV streams into the same without imposing new receiver designs.
