The big complaint on AVSForum is that these boxes can't be used as
stand-alone
HDTV tuners since there is either no HD output at all, or the HDMI HD
output is just
scaled up from the already downscaled HD.
Although many posters think this is some conspiracy, it's just a technology
issue. Next year's model will have HD output.
