Imagine if you had a single tower, but very high, like 35,786,000 meter:

Hotbird carries several _dozens_ of programs aimed at Italians, enough 
that you should not need a second "tower" for special interest groups. 
Also, there's little risk that you get fried if you come too close to 
one of those "big sticks". The field strength is very very safe... 

Although, a big stick does make a nice biiiig (375 m) Christmas tree:
