There has long been concern that some critical franchises will move
exclusively to MPVDs. NFL football is probably at the top of the
list, and there was a small uproar when MOnday Night Football moved
to ESPN - but this was mitigated in part by the addition of Sunday
Night Football at NBC.
I think we may soon see the politicians raise their hackles about the
move of virtually all College Bowl games to ESPN...
