Dermot, you haven't been looking hard. I've got a Roberts DAB radio that
runs on batteries. Admittedly big ones, but it works away from the mains.
Joe Public doesn't really give a hoot about bit-rate, even assuming he were
to understand the term. DAB radios are now selling because they're cheap
enough to count as an impulse buy.
