This article covers some of the technical details of the FIOS network:

Within the house the video is delivered via an IP network, over coax,
which allows for a centralized DVR, a very nice feature (although I'm
eagerly awaiting for someone to figure out how to install a larger HD
in the DVR).

OK ,who is correct here? Is it only one channel at a time or
can you watch 20 different channels on 20 different TVs
simultaneously with FIOS?
As always, Cliff, it's best never to believe as a matter of faith,
especially to those who yell the loudest. Do your own web search
and see whether any credible source claims FiOS to be "IPTV."
