Thanks for the info.
Yes, no HDMI. It's amazing, though, that Radio Shack would get away from the
cheaper and at least as up-to-date Digital Stream box and start reselling
these more expensive boxes. Also amazing how boxes from 2004 are the best
one can do, for plain ATSC STBs and ATSC DVRs. IMO the RGB output is the
most interesting feature not available with the Accurian.
I can just see Radio Shack dropping them too, citing poor sales as their
reason, without having figured out that you can't sell ATSC STBs for $400
anymore. We are at least three years down the road from those days. Or at
very least, you can't sell for $400 something no better than what you were
selling for $80 six months ago, close-out sale or not.
I noted no mention of a timer in the manual. Otherwise, the features are
about what you'd expect.

Yes, I saw that $328 figure as the lowest too. I'd like to see a shootout
between this HD12, the HD3150 Plus, and the Samsung SIR-T451.
With all the built-in receivers, demand for STBs will probably drop until we
get closer to analog shutoff. But the missing piece is still ATSC recording
devices. If you can connect a cheap STB (with timer) to an even cheaper
DVDR, that's not a bad way to go, for now.
