Oh, and I think you forgot something. Just as the FCC is wanting some sort of basic cable tier for OTA channels and multicasts, in the UK, Italy, and it looks like New Zealand too, they have or want to install a DBS-based Freeview system too. Because in those countries, they DO NOT expect 100 percent coverage with COFDM.

Seems very analogous to me. POSSIBLY, if this comes to be, broadcasters will get some interest in their OTA multiplexes? Because they would get copied 100 percent on other media? Intriguing indeed, IMO.
