Sorry, I missed this posting, you are absolutely on target, IMO.

I didn't say that, I simply assumed this given the wording of Al's posting
and the poor FCC test results of available receivers. I then added a
question for Al asking if he knows when this feature will be available?

No argument here...but that didn't address my point, which was that the US
has RF congestion in the broadcast band unlike any other country. This
condition is mostly responsible for our IM problems and therefore requires a
more robust receiver front in design - relative to other countries.
