Considering the Sinclair test report from 1999 (the actual
results, not the anecdotes), and the improvements such as Ken
described, I would like very much to see a retest.
Here's a thought. On the cheap, all one would have to do is use a laptop
with one of those LG 5th gen plug-in USB receivers, visit the same sites
as in 1999, and see how ATSC reception works now. It wouldn't compare
against the best up-to-date COFDM receivers, but it would at least give
an idea of where ATSC stands, and LG 5th gen are already 3-4 years old
anyway.
