or ALL the CDs that you actually OWN.

 Another boon: when an iPod/iPhone
crashes (you actually only rent the hardware), I don't need to buy the
content all over again; I just start with the CDs exported from Rhapsody.

You mean the ones you ripped?

There is no need to buy content over again with iTunes. It is easily backed up and can easily be moved among multiple computers and iPods/iPhones. I really wish you would stop pushing this misleading garbage, which you have been doing for years. The essence of iTunes is to protect and to fully utilize your investments in music. And yes, you can burn CDs of the music you buy from the iTunes store.

I've actually had to do that a few times when moving content to new
computers. The only costs are the original music purchase, and the cost of
backup CDs.

Dittos for iTunes.

P.S. A significant portion of the songs sold through the iTunes store are NOT copy protected, and there are rumors that the rest of the studios are about to drop their DRM requirements for iTunes as well; they already have with Amazon.
