Why would there be any difference in sensitivity?
Because the analog demod can only increase the noise figure of the
receiver, all else equal, which directly impacts on sensitivity.
The receiver noise floor, i.e. sensitivity, is directly related to
antenna temperature (which you can't do much about), channel bandwidth
(also fixed), loss in downlead, and receiver noise figure.
All equally true for any analog input from the antenna, be it NTSC,
8-VSB, QAM etc.
