All I see is that Apple has wrestled some of the control from a single telco of their choosing, AT&T, and taken over that control for themselves. Remember when you used to champion "separate content and carriage"? I would add to that, "separate appliance from service provider." Next thing you know, you will find a way to justify why your electric company should have total control of your choice of toasters and light bulbs.
