Nonsense. Web consumers have always been fickle. They will migrate
away from a site the moment it becomes more hassle than it is worth.
One just has to look at all the failed online content and social
delivery services (the new Napster, Myspace, etc.) for proof. People
are already dropping Hulu because the 'spam' factor is getting really
high. So no, the congloms do not win out - they just can't seem to
figure out that people won't pay a premium for so-called 'top 40'
movies and music that are quite literally shoveled trash.
