[opendtv] Re: All colors of rainbow in new display concept

Indeed Mark, I believe this distinction was also in Cliff's post, and well
understood. I was replying to his conclusion "So it's not the first time
diffraction gratings have been used to make color TV pictures." This also
holds true for the three CRT Eidophor, as well as the later RGB Talaria. And
of course the GLV systems have been around for a while now, and one could
even buy one now. Not sure if and or how they modulated the electron beam to
create CBS colour out of the monochrome Eidophor back in '52. Perhaps Cliff
could chime in here.

P.s. Cliff my last email from Saturdaynight was sitting in my mailbox Sunday
afternoon. So, no all of my three email services are blocked by Comcast. If
some-one from Comcast is reading here, please fix your system, your ways,
and your reputation, this mess-up has been going on long enough, blocking ip
ranges from respected isp's, saying their read server ip's have been used to
send spam and so on and then taking weeks to fix it...
