Hi all:
A couple of things.
First the Road Show moves further south. This next week we’ll be in
Orlando and Tampa Florida.
On Monday, June 27^th , we’ll be in Orlando. The doors will open at 5 PM
with dinner to follow at 6 PM and the Taste of NAB 2005 Road Show
presentation to begin at 7 PM. For details, please visit:
http://www.tech-notes.tv/2005/25-Orlando.htm
We then move on to Tampa for our presentation there on Wednesday, June
29^th . It is also an evening meeting with dinner at 6 PM followed at 7
PM with the Taste of NAB 2005 Road Show. For details on this meeting,
please visit: http://www.tech-notes.tv/2005/26-Tampa.htm
Where has June gone? We’ll be off until July 5^th . We’ll still be here
in Florida, but further south – Miami. I understand from the folks there
that the Road Show – A Taste of NAB 2005 will be streamed over the
Internet. Details will be posted on our website soon.
Secondly - a personal note: Florida is a great place if for no other
reason that I get to see my youngest grandson, Samuel J. Bloomfield (8
weeks old) for the first time and I have to tell you – he’s Director of
Engineering material.
Also, I found out yesterday that I am to be the recipient of the
Educator of the Year for 2004 from the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
This was only possible through those kind folks who have attended our
Road Show last year and the sponsors who made it possible.
If you want to see where we’ll be on the remainder of this year’s Road
Show, please visit: http://www.tech-notes.tv/2005/2005-2.htm and if you
want to see what some of our attendees have had to say about it, please
visit: http://www.tech-notes.tv/2005%20Comments.pdf It is a large PDF file.
In conclusion, I hope to see you at one of our venues.
