Hi all:

Week twenty-one on the Taste of NAB Road Show takes us to Missouri for one presentation and into Illinois for two more. So far this year, we've had 1530 in attendance. See the unedited comments at: www.tech-notes.tv/2009/2009_Comments.pdf <http://www.tech-notes.tv/2009/2009_Comments.pdf>. (They are added to this URL as they are received.)

The first of this next week's three presentations will be in St. Louis, MO on Monday, September 28th. Things will start at 6 PM and we will be hosted by SBE Chapter 55 in the American Legion hall in nearby Creve Coeur. Food/Refreshments will be provided by Mark Goins, District Sales Manager for Harris' Radio RF and Studio Systems. For more information, please visit: www.broadcast.net/~sbe55 <http://www.broadcast.net/%7Esbe55> or www.tech-notes.tv/2009/63-St.%20Louis,%20MO.htm <http://www.tech-notes.tv/2009/63-St.%20Louis,%20MO.htm>.

The second presentation this week will be a noon meeting hosted by Central Illinois SBE Chapter 49 on Tuesday, September 29th. Things will happen in Parkland College's Conference Center in Champaign. Food/Refreshments will be provided by Mark Goins, District Sales Manager for Harris' Radio RF and Studio Systems. For more information, please visit: www.jimflutes.com/sbe49.html <http://www.jimflutes.com/sbe49.html> or www.tech-notes.tv/2009/64-Cent-IL.htm <http://www.tech-notes.tv/2009/64-Cent-IL.htm>.

We will wrap up the week and the month of September with our third presentation this week in the Chicago area. It will be an evening presentation hosted by Chicago's SBE Chapter 26 and will be happening in the studios of PBS member station WTTW on Wednesday, September 30th. Food/Refreshments will be provided by Mark Goins, District Sales Manager for Harris' Radio RF and Studio Systems. For more information, please visit: www.broadcast.net/~sbe26/ <http://www.broadcast.net/%7Esbe26/> or www.tech-notes.tv/2009/65-Chicago.htm <http://www.tech-notes.tv/2009/65-Chicago.htm>.

There is never any admission charge to attend the Taste of NAB Road Show presentations and they are open to anyone interested in broadcasting, post production and their related disciplines. Price and delivery is never discussed during the presentation as The Taste of NAB Road Show is NOT a sales blitz, but rather an educational experience. Over $1800 in door prizes will be drawn for at the end of the day at each of these two locations. Note: a final drawing will take place when all the Taste of NAB Road show has been completed its trek. These are for some rather valuable door prizes. You can see all the door prizes at: www.tech-notes.tv/2009/2009-DoorPrizes.htm <http://www.tech-notes.tv/2009/2009-DoorPrizes.htm>.
