Hey, Tom McMahon wrote: > Which kind of 3d TV and who's glasses? Irrelevant. All 3D TVs can receive all (or at least most) of the 3D formats, and do the appropriate conversion. As far as I know, most or all broadcast formats are frame-compatible, usually side-by-side, i.e. 960x1080i per eye. Only from Blu-ray will you get full-frame formats (1920x1080p per eye). The TV will convert that to frame-sequential stereo (for shutter glasses) or to line-alternating stereo (1920x540p striped retarder for circular polarizer glasses). It is up to you to select a 3D TV that suits you best. Are you coming to IBC this year ? Groeten, -- Jeroen Jeroen H.
