- All the effort you put into 24p to give your program a film look may
disappear on consumer TVs. Micronas will be demonstrating Real Motion at
next week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The system uses motion
compensation to create missing frames:

My 32" 16:9 Philips (CRT) TV already does this using a system called
'Digital Natural Motion'. It works well on off-air PAL, DVD and SD-STB video
sources.
