Now that a date has been set when all sets sold, including recording
devices, must be DTT capable, I suppose there is some justification
for a further delay beyond 1/1/2009. At least now, the delay will
accomplish something.

On the same schedule as the FCC schedule for US sets. Isn't that
interesting. The point made in the article was that unless
integrated DTT capability is made available universally, DTT will
not become the automatic choice. I couldn't have said it better
myself! Notice how demand, presumably zero in non-DTT countries,
seems not to be an important criterion.
