[opendtv] Re: 20050627 Mark's Monday Memo

I think my first couple of PCHD cards ran a bit hot, suggesting a power
draw. But the last couple don't seem to that much. So I'm not sure why
there is much concern over putting them in lap tops (haven't tried it).

I am still not overwhelmed with Bob Miller's reports on the last ATSC
card tests but am tending to agree with Bert that there is a definite
(but slow) trend for the better and it's probably possible right now to
make functional ATSC receivers. If anybody still bothered. I have
decent ATSC reception myself with an attic antenna. It was just
annoying how much effort it was to find a place and orientation where it
worked.
