Lots of battery operated TVs will continue to exist and their numbers
will be joined by cell phones, PDA's, laptops, DVD players and game
machines as well as conventional portable/mobile battery powered DTV sets.

All of them will be used extensively for news. Unfortunately for US
broadcasters very few of them will be tuned to channels from 2 to 51.

TV is becoming more like radio with people using it in the background
where they only "look" at it when something interesting is indicated by
the audio.

I can only speculate that broadcasters will go ballistic when they
realize what a market they have passed on. Excluding Sinclair of course
since they and a few others are aware.
