Three Feet.

The screen is roughly about 49.77 inches wide, which means it
delivers about 77 dpi. This is near the low end of what most personal
computer displays offer today. By comparison Apple's 30 inch Cinema
display delivers about 102 dpi - MS Windows graphics are typically
optimized for 96 dpi.

The nominal viewing distance for these display is in the range of 15
to 30 inches. Given the slightly lower dpi, I would say the CMO
panel would be optimal at a viewing distance of about 3 feet.
