I don't see the whole xml point, once you have clever designed object that
stores
all the page,layout,text,graphics information you can make translators that
load/write from pdf,rtf,doc to the generic object.
Would the xml thinggy not just be a special translator that uses a
translation
file to interpret a certain format and load it into the generic format?
In my humble opinion, we should first create a gernic internal format and an
interface
that makes it easy to use for the developer, what will lead to good
programms at the
end, hopefully :)
And then the different translators to it...or do i miss something?
