I agree. I was thinking R5's VFS funcs slightly modified to make
more sense from a user-level perspective, i.e. passing around
file descriptors instead of Volumes, Nodes, and Cookies. Offhand,
what you've done for the attr declarations looks good.
One thing to note, I also received a message from the BFS folks
mentioning they were hoping to change the VFS filesystem API a
little bit with respect to Attributes, Indicies, and Queries. I haven't
heard back yet as to how they were wanting to change things.
