Plus, according to our own proclamed objectives, as R5 provide both of them, Haiku should too per R1.

I dunno what's a good enough ftpd and telnetd open source implementation, but I
can't see why we should do it ourselves when we could simply port any BSD/MIT
ones. What about FreeBSD's ones?


There is also : ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/inetutils/inetutils-1.4.2.tar.gz
Utils (at least ftpd, telnetd) from R5 seem issued from this : http://web.mit.edu/kerberos/dist/krb5/1.4/krb5-1.4.3-signed.tar
This isn't maintained, but can be replaced afterwards anyway.
