Hi there,
I wanted to inform you that I am working on a fix of if_detach() so that all 
references to the ifnet and the entry in ifnet_addrs is removed. Additionally, 
the route that is created automatically in in.c when an IP is assigned to an 
interface is removed, too.
Just in case you planned to do this, too. Doubling work is bad. ;)
