Not really, we don't. First of all, the R1 stack wll be a BSD-based stack. 
That's already defined and we have lots of code written for it. Second, 
starting reinventing everything just because it looks cool is not exactly 
an approach I would endorse. The BSD stack is a proven one, I say we stick 
to it. Of course we can add some neat BeOS-like  stuff like notificatiosn 
for network changes but I guess going far than that is just a waste o time 
and a way to make sure this thing will take ages to get completed (if it 
ever gets completed).
