That's perfectly okay, we just need to know from each other who's doing 
what.

We only need the BONE kernel, not the stack itself for userland 
testing. That's because that kernel has working select support. Your 
problem might stem from the fact that you have too much memory 
installed? (BONE kernels don't like much more than 512 MB)

Sure, the turnaround times will just be a little longer. For example, 
you could develop under Linux, and test the networking stack running in 
Haiku under emulation.
