About the Sounds application:
After the answers, I have added the directories
/boot/beos/etc/sounds
/boot/home/config/sounds
and
/boot/home/media/Sounds
Why? because In BeOS R5.04 I realized that it is a default directory to save
media files as says Mark.
However you don't have to create this directory if you don't want (Jonas).
Sounds will serach for the three directories if some of them does not exists or
no contains any sound file, there is no problem.
I have seen on the BeOS bible book that on the BeOS R5 Pro version there's a
optional directory named /boot/optional/Sounds. Is it true? (my original sounds
preference does not find sounds it this directoy)
I have just realized that exist a command at /boot/beos/bin named
"installsound" if it works as I think Sounds Preference is at 80%.
On the other way I think it's at 50% =~.
Please download the last version and test if it includes your sounds files on
the MenuField. And the correspondece with the Sounds/Events associations. or
Just to see the screenshot
