[openbeos-preferences] Help.

I need some help to finish my job on ShowImage application.

I couldn't find on bebook, how to make a image selection (which I had some help 
from Michel using an old method BeginTracking), but it's not documented on R5 
any more, only exists on API.
He told me that there are a new way to select an image on R5, but I couldn't 
find.
And how to make a select stay selected after MouseUp ?

Any one knows where can I find some docs about it or sample code using these 
"selections" ?
