It's not yet on BeBits, but soon to be...

The PPC version is cross-compiled, and not tested. Michael, do you have a PPC
system? BTW, why libpdf.so is so huge under x86 (1.9Mb!) when its ppc
counterpart is just 450kb??? Did I miss something building the x86 libpdf.so
version, some black magic $CCFLAGS and/or $LDFLAGS?...

I plan to publish the ppc version of PDFLib under the corresponding BeBits
entry, too, with the patch Michael made some weeks ago.

I choose to name this version 1.0 beta/1, because according to open tasks,
we've reached one dot zero stage, and I think any missing/new features will go
to a v2.0. This version is operational, but not wide tested.
Time to go public beta :-)

Again, thanks you very much Michael and Simon for you hard work on
making this driver, you guys rocks!!!

I don't contribute much lately that I even feel bad to post (soon)
this version under my BeBits account... tell me, maybe it's time to contact
OpenBeOS leader about creating a official "OpenBeOS project" BeBits account
to publish this driver? What do you thing?

-Philippe.

PS: good luck at your new assignment, Simon ;-)
I'm glad seeing you there, at BeUnited. One first idea for you: what about a
global [Open]BeOS softwares developers directory, starting by the 148 who
signed the survey !?
