Powderhorn is owned in conjunction with TNC and TPW, and is not open
to the public.
Due to the high interest in the field trip and wait list, we have
decided to offer 2 day option. So, you can sign up now for either
Friday or Saturday, just one day. This also allows the opportunity for
a few more OG Members to participate in one of the days and enjoy this
special spot.
There are lots of places to bird in the area and I will be sending an
update of options for the alternate day to those signed up.
The hotel assigned for the field trip is the LaQuinta in Port Lavaca
at a senior/AAA rate of $85.50. This is an option
If you are already signed up, send me an email to tell me which day
you prefer. I have everyone signed up for Saturday right now except a
few folks. So, I need several of you to sign up for Friday. Send
