Hi all,
Marilyn and I headed over to Harney Co. today to check out the birding
situation. There is a lot of water in Burns, but none at the Narrows. We
went to headquarters, fully expecting to be turned away. But it was open
although there was no one in sight. The visitor's center is still closed
for remodeling.
I don't know if anyone else has announced that it is open to the public.
While there we observed 23 species, including an early Cliff Swallow.
